The Triuma, clad in shiny silver armor and serving as the legs of an armored trooper, make an appearance!

Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind is an animated film directed by Miyazaki Hayao, based on a manga drawn by Miyazaki Hayao in the monthly magazine Animage.

In the film, the Triuma are an essential means of transportation for people in the vast Sea of Decay and desert that appeared after the destruction of civilization in the "Seven Days of Fire." Takeya Takayuki has arranged the Triuma with a concept of a free-standing ornament. They are birds that have grown larger than a human and lost their ability to fly, but have developed robust leg strength that allows them to gallop like a horse while carrying people and cargo, and thus have developed a symbiotic relationship with humans. They are also highly intelligent, and are particularly used to the main character, Nausicaä, and there are many depictions of them connecting with each other.

The Takeya-style Jizai Figurine captures the distinctive features of the bird, such as its large, inflated beak, long neck, and developed legs, in three dimensions, and adds details such as fine feathers, scales on the legs, claws, ethnic accessories, and adorable eyes and tongue, to add more information to the sculpture. We also paid particular attention to its mobility as a Jizai Figurine, and after much trial and error with 41 movable parts, their range of movement, and the ability to maintain posture, we have created a sculpture that you can actually hold in your hands and move, imagining scenes from the original manga and animated film. We hope you will enjoy the many famous scenes of Toriuma in your hands.
